
Ava Nathaniel Winter is a genderqueer Jewish poet and the author of the chapbook Safe House. Their poetry has appeared in The Baffler, Beloit Poetry Journal, Best New Poets, Grist, Meridian, Ninth Letter, Poetry International, TriQuarterly, and Tupelo Quarterly. Ava received their MFA in Creative Writing from The Ohio State University. Their writing has also been supported by The Ohio Arts Council, The Yiddish Book Center, and The Stadler Center For Poetry at Bucknell University. They are currently a PhD Candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln and a Consulting Editor for the Kenyon Review.
